Quick Answer
Mod APKs with unlimited biocaps do not work. Your resources, troops, heroes, and buildings live on the developers' servers. A modified client can change what your phone displays. It cannot change what the server believes. Every "unlimited biocaps" video is showing you a client-side number that does nothing.
What those downloads reliably deliver: malware, credential theft, and a banned account if you do manage to connect.
There are legitimate ways to move faster, and they're at the bottom of this page. They're less exciting and they actually work.
Overview
Search interest here is enormous, and almost all of it gets served by pages that are themselves the scam. Worth saying plainly what's going on.
State of Survival is a server-authoritative game. When you tap to train troops, your client sends a request and the server decides whether you have the resources, applies the cost, and returns the result. Your phone is a window onto a database you don't control.
That architecture is why resource hacks are impossible rather than merely difficult. There is no number on your device that the server trusts.
What Doesn't Work
Biocap and resource generators. Fake, universally. The websites asking for your Player ID then making you complete "human verification" surveys are affiliate-fraud funnels. You get nothing; they get paid per survey.
Modified APKs. Either they don't connect at all, or they connect and get flagged. Client integrity checks are routine in this genre. What you're actually installing is an unsigned package from an unknown source with full permissions on your phone.
Unlimited speed-up mods. Same reason. Timers are server-side.
"Free hero" or "unlock all" tools. Your hero roster is account data on their servers.
Anything asking for your login. A site offering to add resources if you sign in with Facebook or Google is harvesting credentials. That is the entire business model.
[!CAUTION] The most common outcome of chasing these isn't a ban. It's malware on the device you also use for banking. Modified APK sites are a well-established distribution channel for Android trojans.
What Gets You Banned
Some things do function, at least briefly, and carry real consequences:
Unattended bots. Scripts that farm resources or auto-join rallies while you sleep. These work in a narrow sense and produce detectable behavioural patterns. Perfectly regular action intervals across 18-hour sessions do not look human.
Account buying and selling. Searching for a State of Survival account for sale turns up plenty of sellers, on Discord and elsewhere. It breaches the terms of service and gets accounts reclaimed. It's also a straightforward scam market: you pay, you get credentials, the original owner recovers the account through support with the receipt history you don't have. Selling your own account has the mirror problem — you hand over credentials to a stranger, and your linked email and purchase history are still attached.
Third-party "boosting" services. Handing over your login to someone who'll play for you. Same exposure as selling, plus you've given a stranger your account.
Emulator macro abuse. Key remapping is fine and normal. A macro chain that plays your account without you present is on the wrong side of the line. Covered further in the PC guide.
[!WARNING] Bans in this game frequently land on accounts with real money spent on them. There is no consumer protection route back. You lose the account and the spend together.
Why the Videos Look Convincing
The YouTube and TikTok clips showing millions of biocaps use a few standard tricks:
- Edited footage. The number changes between cuts.
- A different game entirely. Reskinned footage from a title that does have offline resources.
- Genuine spending. Someone bought the resources and filmed the result, then attributed it to their "tool".
- Client-side display mods. The number on screen changes and nothing else does. Watch for the moment they try to spend it. They never do.
That last one is worth internalising, because it's the tell. Any real demonstration would show the resources being spent on something the server has to approve.
What Actually Speeds You Up
If the appeal was spending less for more, the packs guide is the legitimate version of that question: which purchases return value and which are designed not to.
The legitimate list, roughly in order of impact:
- An active alliance. Help requests cut build timers substantially. This is the single largest free accelerator in the game, and it costs nothing but joining somewhere decent.
- Speed-up discipline. Bank speed-ups and spend them inside scoring events rather than on idle timers. Same resource, roughly double the value.
- Gift codes. Small but genuinely free. See the codes guide.
- Daily intel missions. The steady drip that funds hero development. The intel missions guide covers the priority order.
- Focused hero investment. Concentrating fragments on a small core rather than spreading them. Costs nothing and roughly doubles effective progress.
- Playing on PC. Faster execution of the daily loop, which is the real constraint on free accounts.
- Event-timed upgrades. Holding a completed upgrade until a scoring event pays you twice for the same work.
None of these are secrets. Together they're worth more than any hack claims to be, and your account still exists next month.
F2P vs Spender
F2P players are the target market for cheat scams, for obvious reasons. The frustration is real and the free-to-play ceiling is real. The answer is the list above plus patience, because the alternative is losing the account you were trying to improve.
Spenders have more to lose and are targeted differently, usually through account-trading and boosting offers rather than mod APKs. If you've spent money, treat your login credentials the way you'd treat your bank details.
Common Mistakes
Entering your Player ID on a generator site. It's harmless on the official redemption page and a fishing exercise everywhere else. Fix: official channels only.
Installing an APK to "try it and see". The malware doesn't need the game to work. Fix: don't install unsigned packages, ever.
Running a bot during events. Event weeks are when unusual activity is most visible. Fix: don't run one at all.
Buying an account to skip the grind. You're buying credentials someone else can recover. Fix: start on a new state instead, where you'll be alongside other new accounts.
FAQ
Do State of Survival mod APKs work? No. Resources and progress are stored server-side, so a modified client can only change what your own device displays.
Can you get unlimited biocaps in State of Survival? No. Every tool claiming otherwise is either a survey-fraud funnel or a malware installer.
Will I get banned for using an emulator? No. Emulator play is normal and widely used. Modified clients and unattended automation are what draw bans.
Is buying a State of Survival account safe? No, on two counts. It breaches the terms of service, and the original owner can usually recover the account through support afterwards, using the purchase receipts you don't have.
Where can I buy or sell a State of Survival account? We don't point people at those markets. Accounts for sale on Discord and trading sites are a scam category as much as a grey market: buyers lose accounts to recovery, sellers hand credentials and linked email to a stranger. If you want a stronger account, start on a newly opened state where everyone around you is also new.
Are there any working State of Survival cheats? Not in the sense people mean. There are efficiency techniques, listed above, and no way to fabricate resources.
What happens if I get banned? You lose the account and anything spent on it. There's no consumer-protection route back for a terms breach.
Is it safe to use auto-clickers? Key remapping is fine. Unattended macros that play the account while you're away are the risk, and the distinction the developers care about is whether a human is present.
Key Takeaways
- Resource hacks are impossible. The game is server-authoritative; your client holds no trusted numbers.
- Generator sites are survey fraud. Mod APKs are malware distribution.
- Bots, account trading, and boosting services do get accounts banned, spend included.
- Never enter credentials or your Player ID anywhere but official channels.
- The legitimate accelerators are real: active alliance, speed-up discipline during events, codes, daily intel, focused hero investment.
- If a demo video never spends the resources it claims to have generated, that's the tell.
